Jenny Pearce is Professor of Latin American Politics at the University of Bradford and Director of International Centre for Participation Studies. She is convenor the Citizenship DRC’s research group on violence. She has published widely on issues of social change, civil society and violence in Latin America, and recently published an edited volume entitled “Participation and Democracy in the Twenty-First Century” that explores innovations in public participation.
